Mackinder Forum continues to expand its list of conferences, workshops, and lectures

meetings of the Mackinder Forum Since 2000

The first meeting of the Mackinder Forum was a lecture entitled "Geopolitics: A Tool for Analysis" given by General Sir Rupert Smith, KCB DSO OBE QGM DSACEUR NATO, on June 30, 2000.

With the exception of the May and September 2002 meetings, the Mackinder Forum met at Christ Church College or New College, Oxford University.
